Join Spoletium and you'll get much more than a conventional language course!
Our School offers a full set of extra-curricular activities for you to
get the most out of your Italian stay.
Daily trips and walks, evening lectures, weekend parties are a chance you
won't miss to plunge deeper into Italian culture and get closer to Italian
people. Just sign up at School and you're in!
Visits to cultural sites are a must if you live in Central Italy.
Don't worry about how to get there: Just join Spoletium Wednesday afternoon
programme of guided tours to the most attractive places within Umbria region
boundaries.
Whether you are interested in Italian Renaissance sculpture and painting,
in worldwide known religious centres the like of Assisi, or wish to go
for more mundane gourmet food, Umbria region is out there waiting for you
to stop by. The palette of tours provided by the School includes visits
to Bevagna, Montefalco, Norcia, Castelluccio and charming minor villages
in the Valnerina Valley.
We will bring the pleasures of nature, art and cuisine together giving equal emphasis to bustling cities and quiet country towns, art galleries and Medieval churches, museums and wineries, sacred woods and profane bars.
The night in Spoleto is all for you to have more fun.
The Welcome Party Monday evening, organized by the School in a typically Italian family-run restaurant (trattoria), will allow you to get acquainted with your professors and your fellow students in a less formal setting than the class.
Friday evening is for partying again.
The School will invite you to private-home-garden parties in Spoleto where
to have a good time while sipping Italian wine and nibbling Italian food,
just to stop when your favourite song is playing or a newly made friend
invites you for a dance.
You won't turn him down, will you? - At least, it's a good chance to practice
your language skills!
| There is plenty of unspoiled nature in Umbria region, making it ideal as a relaxing getaway from urban life. If you like going for a long walk, don't forget to pack in some adequate trekking shoes and outfit. You'll then be able to join the Saturday morning trips Spoletium will arrange for those fans of nature wishing to experience more of Italian countryside, mountains and landscape. Fully trained guides will take you to spots of impressive natural beauty like the Marmore waterfalls, the Sibillini National Park, Mount Subasio and all the way long the Olive Trees trekking path. Activity of "Spoletium" is not only Italian courses or cultural courses. We have various activities for you to enjoy the life in Italy, especially in Umbria district, ie. walking to the towns of Umbria, trecking throuth nature, and so on. |
